About Will

I started an executive recruitment business in 1998 and ran this for 22 years, building a team of consultants and a client base including some of the UK’s most impressive brands. Most of my clients and great candidates came via word-of-mouth recommendation 

 

As well as managing the company I worked as a recruitment consultant, speaking to hiring managers, HR professionals, and job seekers every single day

 

I received, analysed, and improved thousands of CVs and gained a great understanding of why some CVs work and others don’t

 

I questioned professionals to understand their careers, skills, and aspirations, and worked with them to demonstrate their value to their target employers, enabling hundreds of people to make great career moves

 

In 2020 I decided to work as a CV writer so that I could spend more time working with candidates, using the knowledge I gained as a senior recruitment professional to create CVs that convert applications into interviews

 

Many of my CV clients have been candidates who I worked with and placed as a recruiter, people who continue to value my advice and expertise as they develop successful careers
